This picture
was taken on the road from Bunbeg to Letterkenny and
it shows a church in what can only be described as
a truly amazing setting- right on top of a little hill
in the middle of the Glenveigh valley. Beautiful place.
Also in the picture is Heidi
Frenzel & Bryan Patterson. |

The two Lawsons by tandem in
Toombeola
What a lovely picture. Taken of the Lawsons on their tour of Clare & Galway.
Notice the shadows
..Sunshine! I took this picture of Jerry & Judy just
before a wee village called Toombeola, (Toombeola consists of a post office
and a pub!)

Another
day in Donegal, another tiny road, another amazing
view. You just have to take
it all in. And that's what these people are doing,
taking it all in, at their own pace. September, '97.
I think Linda has
spotted something off in the distance
A pub perhaps

'Right, we're off
'
I took this picture on the third day of our Donegal tour.
It shows 4 friends from Minnessota, Joan, Marc, Vicki and Linda just
about to head of after we had a quick Coke/photo stop
by a bale of turf. In the background one can see the
massive expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. Not a bad backdrop

A wee bit of a pose
in front of Belleek castle was the order of the day. Mr.
Waltz, Mr
Jones and their two significantly better halves are
setting themselves up for what was a great day's cycling
in May '97, (I think I have the month correct). Notice
the short sleeves, bare legs, blue sky and sun glasses

A nice picture of Mike, Lynn,
Martha & Ann taking a wee rest on the way to the
top of Slieve League, the highest sea cliffs in all of
Europe. This is truly a special place, and on our Donegal
tour the day we head up here is a very full day, we want
you to experience the cliffs, the countryside and all
that goes with it. One can really have a special experience
on this day and we do our best to help you achieve that. |

Eddy, (number two
trouble-maker with Celtic Trails), Jeannie and Carol,
at the top of a, 'gentle undulation' on the first day
of our Mayo/Sligo tour, June 97. Notice the Jeep. We
have two of these and they're never to far away should
you need technical assistance, a drink or food. |

A lovely picture,
taken outside one of our favourite pubs, O'Donohue's
on the Fanore road on the coast of County Clare. The
Fanore road was recently voted by the world famous, 'Conde
Naste' travel magazines as one of the top ten most beautiful
stretches of road in the world. So we always stop at
O'Donohue's for a quiet one before making our way to
Lisdoonvarna. The picture was taken in May of 1997. |

Another typical end
of the day for Celtic Trails. This particular scene was
shot at the end of the Bowls green at Renvyle House in
May of 1997 and it shows the wonderful views of the Atlantic,
the mountains of counties Mayo & Sligo off in the
distance and a wee bunch of Celtic Trailers relaxing
after what I hope was a not-too-stressful day

'Paul gets artsie'. I
took this picture while sitting quietly at the back of
one of our groups. Picture shows us clipping along,
in no hurry, along a lovely quiet road. It also
shows the SHADOWS quite clearly. You will notice
everyone is wearing shorts! Ask Derry, (a three
time veteran of our tours). He's the one right
in front of me'. |
